A Shepherd’s Warning
Folks, as I sit here in Scotland, my heart’s heavy—maybe yours is too. I’m just a simple believer, leaning on the Bible, but God’s Word is clear as day: “Test all things; hold fast what is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21, NKJV). Today, we’re testing something big—the BritCard digital ID, pushed by Keir Starmer’s Labour government, announced this week.

During the night, I couldn’t sleep, so I listened to a podcast from “Once Lost Ministries” about the Charlie Kirk Memorial, as Kyle broke down different ways the gospel was shared. One idea that Kyle spoke about was Creationism, as some believe in a Young-Earth Creationism (YEC) or Old-Earth Creationism (OEC), I want to share our stand.

Hey, folks, my heart’s heavy today. I heard about the tragic murder of Iryna Zarutska and it broke my heart, a 23-year-old Ukrainian lassy who fled the war in her homeland, only to have her life taken away on a train journey in Charlotte, North Carolina. Man, that just hits you hard, doesn’t it?

As a Born-Again Christian from Helensburgh, Scotland, I was moved by the film, Jesus Freaks (2024), directed by Nina May. It really set my heart ablaze. You can watch the movie here https://www.jesusfreaksmovie.com/
The film was shot over 13 days in Florida and Virginia, beautifully capturing the 1973 Jesus Movement’s Holy Spirit fire at Stetson University. It was created as a birthday gift for Joanna’s husband, with support from local churches that reflected this heartfelt grassroots passion. Although it is a raw and genuine movie, the Holy Spirit had other plans for how it would be used.

Hey, friends, recently, a dear lady from Somerset, reached out through our SermonAudio site.
She loves Jesus and wishes to be baptised to show her faith, but Mormon missionaries found her giving false hope, also giving her a Book of Mormon. It broke my heart ~ she’s ill, nearing the end, and might be confused by teachings that don’t align with the Bible.

A Heavy Heart for Suwayda’s Loss
Peter here, I haven’t published much after being at the Keswick Convention, but I heard and my heart is broken as we carry for Pastor Khaled Mazhar and his family, murdered in Suwayda, Syria, last week on July 16, 2025. This brave man, who led the Good Shepherd Evangelical Church, was killed along with 12–20 family members, his wife, mother, father, sisters, and their wee kids.

Have you ever been in church, you’re singing away to a worship song, or reading your Bible, and following a pastor's sermon, when a sinful thought pops into your mind? Perhaps it’s anger towards a fellow believer, a lustful desire, or a moment of doubt about God's presence or power that feels out of place concerning God.
