In Ezekiel 36:24 (NKJV), God declares, “For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.” This prophetic assurance, rooted in the Hebrew v’laqachti (“I will take”) and v’qibbasti (“I will gather”), was vividly fulfilled in 1948 when Israel was reestablished as a nation after nearly two millennia of exile.

The Holocaust, commemorated on Yom HaShoah, April 23-24, 2025, claimed six million Jewish lives but catalysed global resolve for a Jewish homeland, resulting in over 700,000 immigrants by 1951. As those who affirm God’s enduring covenant with Israel, rejecting replacement theology, we recognise 1948 as a testament to Romans 11:29 (NKJV): “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”

The regathering persists through what scholars’ term “Modern Aliyah,” the sustained return of Jews to Israel since the late 19th century, with over 3.5 million arriving since 1948. Recent data, as reported by TBN Israel’s Mati Shoshani, cites a 2024 study revealing an 11% increase in anti-Jewish sentiment in the United States, driving thousands to Israel from nations like France and Ukraine.

Ezekiel 36:24’s Hebrew phrase mikol-ha’aratsot (“from all countries”) underscores a divine process that continues unabated, as seen in 2024’s 32,000 immigrants. This ongoing aliyah, amid trials like the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack, affirms God’s sovereign orchestration of history toward His eschatological purpose.

On Yom HaShoah, we are summoned to pray for Jerusalem’s peace (Psalm 122:6, NKJV) and oppose the rising tide of antisemitism fueling Modern Aliyah. Through bornagainchristians.org, we proclaim God’s faithfulness, teaching Ezekiel 36:24 as a living promise.

Let us intercede for Jews returning to their land, meditate on God’s unbreakable word, and share this truth via sermons and outreach, confident that God’s regathering is, as the title affirms, “no done yet.”
