Now listen, folks, especially you precious ones in Iran who might be reading this through some hidden way, maybe a VPN or when the lights come back on, God hasn’t forgotten you. Not for a moment.

We’re seeing something remarkable happening right now in your nation. These protests, which began at the end of December over empty stomachs and a crashing economy, have become a mighty cry for freedom. “Death to the Dictator!” they’re shouting in the streets of every province.

The regime is cracking down hard, live fire and making thousands of arrests, with blackouts in place to prevent the truth from spreading. Reports indicate that thousands have sacrificed their lives, with the death toll rising every hour, while hospitals are becoming overwhelmed with wounded.

It’s heartbreaking, but it’s also a shaking, just like the Word says in Hebrews 12:26-27 “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” God is shaking things loose so that only what’s of Him remains.

I remember when we wrote about the fire of faith in Iran back in June, the underground revival, the dreams and visions of Jesus drawing hundreds of thousands of former Muslims to Himself in those secret house churches.

That fire hasn’t gone out; it’s burning brighter in the furnace of affliction. The people’s hearts are turning away from the forced religion, the oppression, the morality police, and toward the real truth: Jesus Christ, the only way, the truth, and the life.

Here from Scotland, and all of us who love Jesus and the simple teaching of the Word, we want you to know, we are with you.

We’re praying fervently, day and night. Our church family is lifting you up. We’re asking the Lord for protection over every believer, every brave soul crying out for justice: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1).

To the million Jesus followers in Iran, we’re praying for boldness to share the Gospel even now: “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16). And we’re praying that many more would come to Jesus in this hour of need: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

Folks, you are not alone. The body of Christ is one, no matter the miles or the borders.

The regime may try to silence the voices, but the Word of God cannot be bound (2 Timothy 2:9). Jesus is coming soon, hold fast and cling to Him. Keep looking up, for your redemption draws near.

If this reaches you, take heart. We’re standing with you in prayer and in spirit.

May the Lord pour out His grace upon Iran, bring deliverance, and reap a great harvest of souls for His kingdom.

In His love,

Peter
