Greetings, dear friends in Christ,
I’m Peter, writing to you from the rolling hills of Scotland near Loch Lomond, where I serve with bornagainchristians.org, grounded in the steadfast truth of our Calvary Chapel heritage, watching Chuck Smith. I’m so chuffed to share an opportunity to witness the life-transforming power of the Gospel at the Harvest Crusade 2025, set for Saturday, July 19, at 7:00 PM Pacific Time (that’s 3:00 AM BST on July 20 for us Scots).
Held at the grand Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, this event is a beacon of hope, and we can all join in from afar via the global livestream at live.harvest.org. If the wee hours don't suit, fear not, you can catch it later on the Harvest+ app, perfect for a cuppa and a watch in your own time!
For 35 years, Pastor Greg Laurie and the folks at Harvest Christian Fellowship have been heralding the Good News through these crusades. Since 1990, over 8 million souls have gathered, with more than 700,000 declaring faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. This year, expect a night brimming with worship, led by fine artists like Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Brooke Ligertwood, and We The Kingdom. Pastor Greg will proclaim a message of salvation, calling all to the Cross with the clarity of 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.
Why Should Ye Tune In?
This crusade presents a grand opportunity to invite those who do not yet know Christ. Over 80% of folk who come to faith at these gatherings arrive with a friend, so it’s a special moment to reach out to a mate, a neighbour, or a family member searching for truth. As Scots, we’re no strangers to sharing a good story, and what better tale than the Gospel? The livestream lets us join from our cosy homes in Scotland or anywhere across the globe, with a live chat to connect with believers worldwide. Free Bibles and resources will be offered to help new believers grow so that you can point folk to the truth of God’s Word.
Our Heart at Born Again Christians
With our Calvary Chapel roots, we’re keen as mustard to keep the Gospel pure and test all things against Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21). While we approach every ministry with a discerning eye, we’re confident the Harvest Crusade’s focus on Christ’s death and resurrection is a message we can rally behind. It’s a chance to unite around the unchanging truth of the Cross, whether ye’re in Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Timbuktu!
How to Join the Event.
- Watch Live or On-Demand: Gather round your screen at live.harvest.org on July 19 at 7:00 PM PT (3:00 AM BST) or catch up later via the Harvest+ app. Join the global chat for a wee blether with fellow believers!
- Invite a Friend: Pray for someone who needs Jesus and ask them to watch with you. Share this post or the event link (harvest.org) to spark a heart-to-heart.
- Follow Up: If someone you know responds to the Gospel, guide them to our resources at bornagainchristians.org, and we can direct them to a local Bible-believing church for discipleship.
- Pray: Lift up the event, Pastor Greg, and all who’ll hear the Gospel (Philippians 4:6). Ask for hearts to open and lives to change.
Let’s seize this moment to share the hope of our Saviour! As Paul wrote, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16).
From the Highlands to the Lowlands and beyond, join us online for the Harvest Crusade 2025, and let’s see God work wonders.
In the love of our Lord,
Peter
